Who would have ever thought that deciding to have my bathroom remodeled would lead to love? No, I’m not talking about “get married and have kids” kind of love, but it’s love nonetheless. I fell in love with my Salt Lake City bathroom remodeling contractor. Here’s the story.
Our First Meeting: The Ideas and Design Period
As a married mother of four, I had my hands full trying to figure out how I wanted to design my bathroom. My husband in all his wisdom left the idea and design aspect of the bathroom renovation to me. When the contractor first entered my home I thought to myself, “This guy looks competent. I feel confident leaving this renovation project in his hands.” He had a sturdy build, open and honest face and a look about him that spelled, “excellent service”. I liked him right off the bat.

Getting Down and Dirty: Demolition and Renovation
Once I we had hammered out all the details, he got to work calling all the appropriate people, taking all the necessary measurements, and ordering all the appropriate custom parts. This man made service with a smile my new motto.
Within a few days the entire bathroom space was gutted and then electrical and plumbing work was done. When the new custom countertops and floor tiles arrived, they were installed with relative ease. Since the cabinets were being removed we hadn’t bothered thinking of cabinet re-facing, because new cabinets went much better with a new bathroom.
There was only one small hiccup in our “love affair”. One of the walls was damaged during the installation of the new shower, but that was dealt with by an easy and quick repair.
